Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are extremely motivated by the desire to succeed in the math classroom. Despite their gaps, they strive forward on all assignments and show the hunger to learn new concepts, strategies, and mathematics in general.

Diverse in many ways, our students are encouraged to engage in mathematical discussions that challege them to justify their responses.

We have students with IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and special needs. Our students love learning, love the learning process, and love the environment we've created for them.

My Project

Our students have been working extremely well considering how difficult this year has been. They absolutely love our rewards system in place and we want to continue to reinforce their positive behavior and successes they have been exhibiting in the classroom.

In our last batch, we presented multiple fidget toy prizes and our students were very excited about them.

We want to build on this by providing them with snacks for the holiday season and for when we return from our Winter Break. If we continue with this, we know we will continue to see their success grow.
