This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in 6th grade and love to work for an incentive. Motivating kids in middle school can be a challenge. A planned holiday celebration will be a great way to keep them focused throughout the holiday season. I have been doing this for past 2 years and not only was it motivating and a reason to be successful, but a great way to celebrate the holidays at school!

After taking our last test before the new year, I would like to reward my students with math games, crafts, and stickers and prizes.

As a treat, my students will have hot chocolate and snacks. This will a great way to send them off to enjoy the holidays with their families over the winter break.
