Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. I treat my different grade levels differently and this project is for my 6th graders. This will be added to items I have for them already. I like to find little items that help them have more fun and that doesn't require technology.

My 6th graders seem to like Squishmallows and this is a little support stuffie that is special for the holiday season.

The card game is said to be super fun and allows them to get animated while playing the game. It is a quick game that they can play with their family and friends to pass the time. Anything that keeps them off of their phones or computers is a win for me. This is something to also get their families together more over the holiday season. Fun and activity are very important and it is something that I hope my families will love. Anything for my math classroom to motivate and inspire my students. Mental Health is very important and this can help my students with just that! The ChapStick is always needed this time of year and a few candies will be added to their bags. The Taylor Swift bracelets and Jolly Ranchers are for our PBIS store. Kids use their PBIS points to purchase items and these have been popular. Math is a big part of this and these little special treats help kids want to keep learning and growing. I really appreciate your kindness and love for my project today.
