Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this project, I am requesting materials that will help us create fun Holiday crafts. During the day I'm working as an intervention teacher, and in the afternoons, I'm sometimes supporting our ases classes, which are our afterschool kiddos. These materials will help support all of our kiddos. We will be able to create fun crafts.

Let our imaginations run wild!

My students love arts and crafts. They like to be imaginative, and creative and create art pieces and crafts. My hope is that the kids create a Santa or Valentine's day craft with the various card stock. The candy and sqishies will be used to fill the cards or designs. With the play dough, they can create fun imaginary figures or hopefully design something they can gift to a friend.

These materials will provide my students with a variety of arts and crafts projects throughout the year. They will be able to make fun crafts they will be able to keep or gift to their favorite people. With your support, my students will have great resources to enrich their art experiences in class and be able to share what they have created. Thank you in advance for your support!
