Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach special education grades kindergarten- 4th grade. My students each have their own unique strengths and needs. My students range from autism, specific learning disabilities, intellectually disabled, orthopedic impairment, and speech and language disabled. My students work hard to reach their goals and strive to be the best students they can be.

My students love having a variety of books that are highly engaging and fun.

My goal for this project is to bring as many holiday books to my classroom library. I want my students to continue wanting to read. A way to get my students to read is by having interesting books with colorful pictures and things they can relate to. With all the holidays approaching, I would love to add these Halloween and Thanksgiving/Fall books to my classroom library.
