Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to provide a calm and safe space for our students. A place where a student is able to disconnect from school and/or home stressors. I would love to continue to hold space in a calm and relaxing environment to address students social and emotional needs to promote academic excellence. The items I am seeking will assist in setting a calm and comfortable environment. Additionally, utilizing the requesting items will assist me in continuing to work towards establishing a safe space and a positive relationship and rapport so that students will then feel comfortable expressing their current needs and achieve academic excellence, since children will be able to express themselves in their language, through play.
