Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The espresso machine is to help our school's life skills program start a coffee shop on campus. Our special needs students will be making and selling coffee on campus to raise money for future program trips and activities. This gives our students opportunities to learn and practice real world job skills for job fields that they will be eligible for when they are older.

This project gives special needs students the opportunity to learn and practice real world job and business skills that they can use after graduating high school.

Our program focuses on developing career and life skills for students with disabilities. These students will greatly benefit from practice in the work field. They do not have the same amount of opportunities as most other people do, and I want them to feel confident and prepared to get jobs after they finish their high school careers. This project will be a fantastic asset in helping them develop work skills and independence for their futures.
