My Students

Our school is considered a Title I school, serving students in grades Pre-K through fifth. My third grade students are very diverse. Some of them come from various ethnic backgrounds, some come from single family homes, living in poverty-level conditions. Some have learning disabilities, and some are gifted academically.

My students deserve the absolute best there is to offer, yet often times are exposed to the worst.

I strive to provide them with the best learning opportunities, so that they can learn in ways that best fit their needs. I hope that you choose to partner with our class to help me make that happen!

My Project

With 21 active third graders, they need to move as much as they can! My students have been wanting more seating options for our classroom. They LOVE our current set of Hokki Stools! However with a growing class size, not all of my students have a Hokki Stool for their seating option. After considering and trying different seating options, they've decided that the Hokki Stool is the way to go!

Chairs are overrated for my active third graders!

They believe that with the addition of these stools, it will allow them to move and remain active while sitting. Not to mention, it allows them to work their core! What better way to promote health and fitness then with Hokki Stools!
