Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our goal is to teach our students (all 574 of them) the fundamentals of hockey. We would like our students to learn how pass, stickhandle and shoot a hockey puck. We want to teach them the basics of the game and expose them to a sport that they never have the opportunity to play. Unfortunately our school does not have ANY hockey equipment. We only have two torn soccer nets that we plan on using during our hockey unit IF this project is funded. We are in need of hockey sticks and pucks.
