My Project

We are an International Baccalaureate school in Rancho Cordova. Our students are diverse and learn at different levels. My focus as a history teacher is to be able to show students various cultures in our world and how they interact with each other. IB prides itself with 10 learner profiles that help students become well balanced people and active in their community.

Using Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to use and modify lessons for students who have different lexile levels, who speak another language, and provide enrichment for students who want a challenge.

My classroom is full of 37 "eager to learn" students who need rigorous and some modified lessons. Some students need additional lessons they can access at home. By funding this project I will be able to spend more time building rapport and relationships with them. That's why I got into teaching. Is to spend time with students and help them develop into well balanced people.
