This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students but we can't love our students without teaching them the truth about our nation. Let us plant the seeds of history and truth to our students everyday in the classroom. With these books, I hope students can engage with reading material that will spark their curiosity and inner activism to become critical individuals in society. It is essential that as a teacher we offer students the truth about history and we help them understand that they have a voice in our world. It is a world they must understand because they will soon inherit the world and have the responsible to teach the next generation.
