This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This year I have a really eager bunch of students who actually enjoy learning about History, and I want to encourage them by allowing them easy access to in classroom technology. Right now, I have to arrange to borrow a computer cart that may or may not be available and honestly, I think we use way too much paper anyway. Having these tablets will allow me to set up virtual classrooms for my students to organize materials and quickly source and search for information through vetted sites. Our in-class computer lab will definitely be a game changer!
