Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me bring history alive to our school. Every year our fifth grade class brings history alive. Our students will be using the pencils to conduct a research and take notes on a historical character. They will be using the paper and the paint brushes to paint their backgrounds to create their props for their individual characters as well as a class wide skit. Students from other grade levels will be able to partake and see history come alive.

This production takes a month in preparation.

Therefore, we need these materials in order to prepare for our history day. Every year we are complimented on our presentation and how inclusive it is. Our special needs students English learners and low income. Students are all able to partake. This is due in part by school funds, donations, and how forceful our students can be with just a variety of materials.

We asked for these donations to make it easier on our students to partake in this historic representation of various historical characters.
