My Project

I teach Theatre Arts in Idabel, Oklahoma, PK-8th Grade. This program will help bring US History to life and be an opportunity for the entire school body to attend and learn. Not only will the audience be learning about US History, but the participants will as well. Additionally, different acting skills will be taught and reinforced. Students of all ages will be able to view and interact with a variety of characters from US History. Audience etiquette will also be taught across the board for students of all ages at our school.

The variety of materials requested are listed below.

*Vintage Baseball Uniform … For the character of Mickey Mantle

*Wig Stands … To keep our wigs on

*Curly Grandma Wig .. Can be used with a plethora of characters

*Synthetic Fiber Wig Shampoo … The character wigs fray easily and I’m hoping this will help me with the longevity of their care

*Various Colonial Wigs … Can be used with some of the characters in the Living Museum and with other plays we do depicting historical characters

*Foam Board Trifolds … can be used as displays for pictures and factual information for the characters in the Living Museum. I asked for foam board so I could hopefully reuse them for another theater project when needed. If possible, could you change the number from 7 packages to 6 packages, there are five in each package?

*Clear Push Pins … To use on the foam board trifolds

*Antique Old Fashioned Paper (8 1/2” x 11”) .. To use with some of the characters in the Living Museum on the trifolds

*Stocking Caps for Wigs … To help the performers who wear wigs during a performance. Sometimes they can make one’s head itch or perspire.
