Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are embarking on a new school year, and we are beginning our Weekly Weekend Food Bag Program once again and we need your help in getting it up and running. We started this program in Pre-K and are now extending it to our kindergarten students. With your help we can make sure our students have healthy food choices for the weekend to ensure our little ones can have great meals to eat.

Many of our Families are in the many different types of shelter systems as well as low-income families throughout our school community location and we are trying to make a difference by giving our parents one less hurdle to worry about because we all know, food can be a big budget buster.

The hot and cold cereals, tuna, canned goods and snacks can go a long way in supporting our students mental and physical growth and development. The Weekly Weekend Food Program has a made a huge difference in our community and every donation that is given can bring us closer to closing those gaps we see happening within the lives of our students and their families.

Remember every donation COUNTS and we truly appreciate you all for being apart of the Donors choose Organization!
