My Students

My first grade students at WFE are a diverse group of children who come from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and personal experiences. This year, my classroom is serving 26 first graders.

These past few years have brought many challenges, but one thing has remained the same: my students are eager to learn about the world around them.

My students have gained a whole new appreciation for the time they get to spend at school, and have flourished in both social and academic areas!

My Project

My students need headphones that are durable and reliable in order to effectively use their iPads in the classroom. Many first graders are still learning to decode and read, making it vitally important that they have access to resources that can fluently read aloud to them. My students use their iPads in order to listen to eBooks, conduct research, engage in differentiated tutoring programs, and so much more. When students are using their iPads, they are actively engaged in their own independent work.

Having access to headphones will allow my students to effectively explore the digital learning resources available to them.

All students deserve to be provided with the necessary tools for them to be successful in school. A durable set of classroom headphones will help ensure that my first graders are adequately equipped to listen and learn!
