Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When we see our students everyday, sometimes we don't notice how much they have grown and developed. With the iPad technology and accessories to document student work, milestones, and family comments, we will create portfolios and gather evidence of our daily celebrations. The collection of student data will strengthen our ability to support parents on their child's most current needs. Our iPads would also serve as a teaching tool for the type of games, videos, and screen time is appropriate for your children.

These iPads would bridge the connection between the home and the classroom to ensure that the child's parent and teachers are on the same page with how to best support development.

Students will document their new skills; Teachers will share age appropriate apps and resources; and parents will feel empowered in their understanding of how their child is growing. The iPads will make it easier to gather parent data to ensure that we are providing relevant programming for their family.
