Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
A love of reading opens the door to adventures, learning new things, and a whole host of key language skills such as speech development and vocabulary building.
Reading will give my students an understanding of things outside of themselves.
As well as gaining a foundation of background knowledge about the world around them, which they can use to make sense of what they see, hear, and feel, reading gives children new ideas about the world which they can then connect to their own lives.
Help me create love for reading with these Hilo series which is funny and entertaining at the same time. My students will have an opportunity to read these books during free time and read out loud. My students especially love listening to a story as a whole class.
