This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! I have proudly served as a band director for over 30 years in Broward County Florida. In recent years our band program has moved into the digital age and our students can have their music on their district-provided iPads. Unfortunately, they didn't provide the teachers with one which makes it difficult to align with my students.

I am asking for donations to purchase an iPad for myself so that we can cut down on the cost of printing ink and paper and so that the transitions between classes are seamless and I can share in the wonders of the digital age with my students.

The students at Driftwood Middle are such a diverse group of students. They represent many different ethnicities and include students with and without disabilities. Our band program is inclusive and a pivotal part of many of the student's days.
