My Students

My students are faced with many challenges in and out of school. My students are so full of life and are eager to learn everyday. My students love to be actively engaged in their learning. It helps them learn each and everyday.

I work in a Title I school in North Carolina where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch everyday.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.

My Project

These materials will make such a impact in my classroom because it will give me a chance to instruct my students with higher level text. A lot of our higher level guided reading books dont have enough copies for the number of students in my guided reading groups! Its hard when every student doesnt have a book! These will impact the classroom greatly by getting to continue to push my students more everyday with higher level guided reading books, enough for everyone in a group, to push their thinking and their reading just a little more!

They can read these levels and I want to show them that!
