Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are excited to share with you our ongoing initiative - the expansion of our annual College and Career Fair. This event (on its third year this October and hosted by the school counseling department) has always been a beacon of future possibilities for our students, providing them a chance to explore their potential paths and engage with representatives from various universities and companies. However, we need your support to bring this vision to life.

As our event grows, so does our need for resources.

One critical need is for folding tables, which will serve to accommodate the growing number of participants, as our goal is to not only invite colleges from PA and other states, but also CTE schools and companies. These tables will not only provide a space for our invitees to showcase their institutions or companies, but also create a welcoming environment for our students to interact and learn. Your contribution will make a significant difference in the execution of this event.

Our school serves students from all over Philadelphia, with 98.4% minority students, and many of them come from economically disadvantaged households. Your generous donation will go directly towards enhancing the experience and potential outcomes of this event.
