My Project

My students are in grades 10-12. They are primarily students with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism. We work on a variety of life skills lessons such as cooking, cleaning, independent living, and job skills development.

The goal is to prepare them for appropriate transition plans for life after high school so that they can become independent members of the community.

We run a student led coffee shop at the school, where the Brew Crew works to take orders, fulfill orders, and deliver to staff. The items requested, a Ninja AG301 Foodi 5-in-1 Indoor Grill with Air Fry, Roast, Bake & Dehydrate and Hot Plate, Techwood 1800W Electric Dual Hot Plate, Countertop Stove Double Burner for Cooking, will help support our kitchen skills development and the goal of learning to cook for themselves.

Ms. Ryan Mastery Charter School - Lenfest Grades 9-12

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
