High School Ride and Read Program

Help me give my students a place to exercise and study in our library. Kids with ADHD struggle to work and focus without movement. With these bikes student athletes don't have to choose between work and working out.

My Project

Our student population is very diverse in it's study needs. I have students who come to the library every day looking for a place to do work. However I see many student athletes struggle to choose between conditioning and getting their homework done. These bikes offer them a chance to get in some cardio and some homework done. These desk bikes are great for students with ADHD or Autism and gives them a way to move and do work at the same time too.

Adding a bike like this is great not only for students but teachers as well.

Teachers often end up sedentary because they are stuck behind a desk when they are grading. Now they can come to the library and work and ride. This provides an healthy work environment for all.
