My Project

The art supplies are for days when students need a calmer activity or an individual activity to ease their racing mind. The art supplies complement what I already have; I was running out of specific color markers and there was a need for a hot glue gun.

The clicker will be extremely helpful for the times I need to have a one on one with a student in the middle of class.

When the one on one is more serious, it's hard to keep the rest of the class engaged when they are stuck on the same Google Slide. With the clicker, I can be present with the student personally but also engage with the rest of the class to continue with the lesson.

The rest of the technology will be used to organize the space and drawers and maintain supplies for a longer period. Hence, the need for the label maker and its tape and a laminator to make posters and their art work longer lasting.

The games are for students to build community with each other through play or a fun community circle. If I build a stronger community within my students towards each other, it can help students feel like they are seen not only by the teacher but also by their classmates.

I hope to build a stronger community within my students and make the classroom atmosphere more cooperative and engaging!

Therefore, I would greatly appreciate it if my project were funded to help support students in developing better coping strategies to care for their mental health.
