My Project

Our students benefit from hearing the same message from multiple voices. That's why we have high school mentors who come to the elementary school to work with our younger students. It's essential that these mentors are ready to engage confidently and not feel hesitant about entering the classrooms to provide guidance.

When our mentors are in the school, they should be mentally prepared and confident as they step into the classrooms.

My goal is to help them overcome any fears and effectively share their knowledge. To support this, I am creating a preparation station where mentors can stop before entering a room. This will help them feel prepared and ready to take on their responsibilities. They'll receive a confidence boost with candy, phonic materials, and incentives such as their favorite snacks and games to inspire our younger students to keep learning.
