My Students

I am an instructor of Algebra 1 at a Title 1 urban high school where over 80% of my students receive free my school. Most of these students are underrepresented and does not have high self confidence. As their greatest advocate, I have to motivate them to be everything I believe they can in any learning environment we are placed in.

I am requesting a desktop computer to enhance the learning experience of my students from a distance.

Like all other schools in the USA I have gone to a distance learning platform of teaching because of the Covid-19 outbreak . The materials needed to teach students from distance learning vary from those used in a face-to-face setting. The laptop I am currently using does not adequately serve the purpose as it did for a personal level. The need for a desktop computer or monitor is vital to properly communicate and teach my students from a virtual setting.

Help me to provide this technology to improve the successful academic outcome of my students from a distance . Having this needed supply donated to my students, I can better teach and communicate with them from my distance classroom.

My Project

From a distance, the learning experience is only as good as the technology being used. During the virtual learning sessions, my students ask me to write a little bigger so they can see what I am doing. This is not always possible when I am using a small laptop.

Therefore, it is with this in mind that I seeking this requested HP All-in-One desktop computer so I have a fuller screen that will be beneficial to the students.

There is no reason that my students should not be able to enjoy the same, or comparable learning experience that they have with me from a distance.

Having this desktop computer will be very helpful to me in giving them the same high quality learning experience as I would if they were with me face-to-face.
