My Project

My middle school students, who live in an under-served NYC neighborhood, deserve a high-interest, age-appropriate language arts magazine as well as snacks to munch on while they read. The magazine subscription—Scholastic Scope—comes with teacher resources, like videos and fun learning activities, that will supplement the ELA curriculum and help to improve my students' engagement and reading comprehension. Since the subscription is both print and digital, my students will be able to choose the format that works best for them. Providing their favorite snacks will make reading time more attractive and enjoyable.
