My Project

Our students spend so much time in front of screens, they need to spend more time with physical books in their hands! Our school does not currently have a consistent librarian and it can be difficult to check out books. I want to be able to provide a well rounded library full of exciting, high interest books for my students to access in our classroom. My students love a good book, and we enjoy doing a daily read aloud that helps to foster a love of new genres. These books will allow students to check out books in our classroom even if we can't get to the library every week! Having books in hand instead of reading online makes a difference in students' reading abilities!
