My Project

Our students love to come to the library to check out books each week. They show so much enthusiasm when we have new books in our library. I am always looking for new books that will engage readers and keep them reading. Studies show that the best way to become a better reader is to read, read, read! By adding high interest accessible books to our school library, we are able to meet the diverse reading needs of more of our student population.

One of my goals as a school librarian is to instill a lifelong love of reading.

If I can help foster that love and provide the books that do so, I will do it. There is no bigger reward than seeing the happy faces of students with books or hearing about a book they are excited about.
