Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every week students in the Gender and Sexuality Alliance Club come together to enjoy activities, bond in a safe space, and learn about how they can be activists for the LGBTQ+ community.

Providing snacks during club meetings is essential!

I spend hundreds of dollars each year on snacks for our club meetings. Many of my students have expressed dislike of the school lunch and will go all day without eating. Having a snack during a club meeting truly makes their day! Participants in the GSA club love it!! Snacks they love even more!
