Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help provide snacks to hungry students from elementary to high school in Title One schools. Snacks are requested by hungry students throughout the day. Snacks are used to motivate learning and support behavioral changes.
A student who is hungry cannot focus on learning and may have behavioral concerns.
The snacks will be used as incentives to support student learning. These snacks will be provided to over 100 students, from elementary to high school, for 5-8 field trips In the field trips. On field trips, students will experience nature, learn about science and learn about healthy nutritional alternatives.
