This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I propose the installation of HEPA filters in classrooms to enhance the overall air quality, creating a healthier learning environment for both educators and students. HEPA filters are renowned for their ability to trap microscopic particles, including allergens, dust, and pollutants, thereby mitigating the risk of respiratory issues and allergies among occupants. By ensuring cleaner air, a HEPA filter can significantly improve concentration and productivity, as students and teachers benefit from breathing in fresher, purer air. Furthermore, in response to recent health concerns, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, integrating HEPA filters can provide an additional layer of defense against airborne viruses and bacteria, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals within the educational setting. This proposal signifies a proactive commitment to prioritizing the health and comfort of our educational community, ultimately fostering an optimal environment for teaching and learning.
