Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a big believer that a welcoming classroom environment can impact student engagement. After almost 20 years of teaching, many have attested to how the way the classroom was set up helps them feel welcome and therefore are able to focus on what's being taught.

To add to the organization of our classroom, I am requesting rolling organization carts.

These carts have uses that I believe my students will appreciate. I have also included a couple things our classroom is in need of, like a blank sheet holder and a power strip. By having an organized classroom ready for instruction, collaboration, and lots of learning, I know it will be a positive start for all of my students everyday. My goal is to keep the classroom organized to encourage learning so my students can see that their classroom is their home away from home.
