Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am entering my second year working in special education, and I am continuing to build my collection of resources for my students! Working with students with disabilities means needing a wide array of materials and resources to accommodate and meet their needs.

With the timers and ABA communication cards, I am able to provide my students with visual resources to inform them of how much time until we transition and give them the chance to communicate with me even if they cannot use their voice.

Working with students with disabilities requires frequent data collection. With the materials like the binders and laminator, I can divide the students' goals and create lessons specifically for them. If my project gets funded, I can continue to help my students meet the educational milestones they deserve to meet.

Many of my students receive related services like speech therapy and occupational therapy. With some items on my list, I can continue to help them work on those related services goals within the classroom.
