This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom enrollment is capped at 25 students and I would like a copy of this book for each student to read and use in class. Additionally, the other book can help me pair up students or work in groups by sharing a book and discussing the content.

Teenagers want to be good people, they are just afraid or do not know how to be this while balancing their own mental health (their thoughts, opinions, and emotions), social media, and relationships with friends, family, teachers, and classroom peers.

I believe I can use these books to build the real-life characters they want to be in the books they read, movies/shows that they watch, and the songs they listen to. Well, at least think about those characters and those around them.
