Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students are required to read one hour every week to improve their reading skills. A lot of times the students find the books that are in the current library boring. I find when the students are interested in what they are reading their scores go up higher then anticipated. Students are also more likely to read longer then asked if they are enjoying what they are reading which helps them in the future to read any type of text. With the help of donors choose I would like to put one book in every students hand they will love to read while at school. Also books can be used over and over again by the students for next year.
