My Students

Can you imagine what it would be like if you had difficulty focusing? The students that I work with have sensory needs that prevent them from paying attention and learning. The requested materials provide sensory input to the students so that they can focus and learn important skills.

The students that I work with are diagnosed with Autism, Asperges Syndrome, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy and a number of other disabilities.

We are in the state of Tennessee and our resources are limited. These children deserve the chance to learn, just like every other child.

My Project

I am requesting a variety of sensory chew toys and fidgets that will help these special children pay attention. I am also requesting light filters that soften the florescent light that causes many special needs children to be distracted and overwhelmed. These products have been proven effective for children with special needs. My ultimate hope for this project is that it will give the students the tools that they need to effectively learn despite their Please give my students a chance to learn to write using these wonderful multi-sensory products.
