My Project

A lot of the students I work with find it difficult to sit in traditional desks all day. They have extra energy, difficulty maintaining focus, and this often turns into behavioral issues. I strive to make my classroom setting a place where they can be comfortable, and have the freedom to choose what will work best for them.

Furthermore, I live and work in a community that is borderline poverty stricken.

A lot of my students come to school hungry and leave, not sure if they will have dinner. Extra snacks are always welcome!
