Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach sixth and eighth grade students who are from two completely different worlds! This is my second year teaching sixth and first year teaching eighth. My students are very different, and I have SO many personalities in all of my classes.

For many of the students this is their first time in a science class where they can do more advance science experiments, and they are so excited to get their scientist juices flowing!

My Project

I want to give my students the full scope of what a science class should be. This is the first year our school has had a biology class, so we are in need of a lot of necessary lab equipment.

I'd love for the students to be able to experience a fun, engaging and exciting science class this year.

These are all materials that we will be able to reuse for years to come, and they will benefit SO many students.

With these supplies, my students will see themselves as actual scientists in a lab and will appreciate their science classes that much more.
