This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Working with new comers (students new to the country) can be very challenging because I want to help them as much as I can. I provide them with as much as I can but it can be very hard at times. My goal is to help them grow in their language, learn new language, and to make them understand the new culture they are in.

Students are highly motivated and eager to come to school but at times they wouldn't attend because they are equipped with basic materials and prefer not attend school because they are embarrassed.
