My Students

A typical day in our classroom involves learning, and having fun doing it. The children will retain more information if they are enjoying it. Our classroom goal is to have all students moving up one reading level. One of our classroom quotes is "always try your best".

Our school and classroom is a very warm, and inviting environment.

We believe in making learning as enjoyable as possible. My students are very diverse culturally, and in their learning styles. I try to meet the needs of all of them as individuals and learners, which can sometimes be a challenge.

My Project

As a new teacher it can be difficult to find classroom materials. Many of my students are reading on a level H,and I. We need more of these leveled books to keep the students reading on their level. They cannot be reading the same books over and over. The laminating machine will help us keep our important papers neat and organized, instead of being misplaced or crumpled.

This project will improve our classroom by improving my students' reading levels.

Practice makes perfect when it comes to reading. The more books they have the more they can master their reading level. The laminator will help to keep our work neat and in one piece. It will also allow us to use things more than once. Instead of pencils we can use dry erase markers on laminated sheets, and erase it when we're done. The ink will allow us to print out useful worksheets for our class.
