Helping Little Ones Communicate

Help me give my students the opportunity to communicate using technology. Many of my students are non-verbal and rely of various apps to let others know what they’re thinking and feeling.

My Project

Students will have the opportunity to use apps and technology to label items, to have their needs met, and to eventually expand their expressive language skills. This will be done by using these devices to access stories online that the children otherwise would not have access to, with supporting activities that will meet their communication needs.

I will use the materials requested to set up a technology station in the speech room, so my students can access language activities through a variety of approaches.

This will also give them the opportunity to carry over these skills when they go home.
