My Project

The stress balls I’m requesting will provide my students with an essential tool to manage their emotions and sensory needs, allowing them to focus better during lessons and participate more fully in classroom activities. Many of my PreK-3rd grade special education students face challenges with sensory processing, anxiety, and self-regulation, which can interfere with their learning. By using stress balls, they will have a quiet, non-disruptive way to release tension, calm their bodies, and stay engaged in learning.

My goal for this project is to create a supportive environment where students can develop self-regulation skills, improve focus, and actively participate in lessons, ultimately leading to greater success in the classroom.

What makes my students so special is their resilience, creativity, and determination to learn despite the challenges they face. They have a wide range of abilities and needs, and these stress balls will give them a personalized tool to navigate their emotions, helping them thrive both academically and socially.
