This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Headphones and adapters are essential tools for our 1st graders' learning. At this age, students are developing foundational reading, listening, and comprehension skills. Many of our lessons incorporate digital learning programs, read-aloud activities, and interactive educational games. Having personal headphones allows students to focus, reduces distractions in a busy classroom, and ensures they can fully engage with their lessons. The adapters are also crucial, as they help connect our existing devices to compatible headphones, making the technology accessible for all students.

Goals:

Improve Focus & Engagement – Headphones create a distraction-free learning environment where students can concentrate on their lessons.

Support Individualized Learning – Every student learns at their own pace. With personal headphones, they can engage with tailored digital lessons without outside interference.

Enhance Literacy & Language Development – Many of our literacy programs use read-aloud features, phonics exercises, and language-learning tools that require clear audio.

What makes students special ?

My 1st graders are curious, eager learners who thrive when given the right tools to explore and grow. They come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their own unique strengths, challenges, and dreams. They are kind, hardworking, and full of energy, and they deserve a classroom that meets their needs.
