My Students

My 24 Kindergarteners are creative and thoughtful bundles of excitement! They are so excited to come back to our classroom and get to finally use manipulatives to help them learn. They love reading and listening to read alouds in class. At home, they use a free online book resource called Epic! and they've already listened to a combined 5,500+ books!

My Kindergarteners come from many different walks of life.

Some of my students have special needs, some are second language learners, some have Individual Education Plans, and some are from low-income families who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.

My Project

Students at home will be sent leveled A readers to help kids who are ready to make connections between their sight-words and letter sounds to a story. The books can also be used in the classroom when we return!

Alphabet skills are ready for liftoff—with hands-on rockets that make language practice a blast!

Each double-sided rocket features 3 easy-fitting pieces that show the upper- and lowercase letter, plus 4 pictures that represent the letter sound. Kids just match up the pieces to build each rocket—boosting letter recognition and exploring letter sounds as they play!

With these bright, easy-to-thread beads, building words is as simple as A-B-C! Our gigantic set features over 250 lowercase letter beads that let children practice the alphabet and spell tons of words…plus 12 long, plastic-tipped laces that provide lots of room to work.
