My Project

My students are engaged in rigorous learning all day and deserve to have a break when needed. They are a group of students with disabilities making our school the best place to be! Having a space where students can choose to relax or take a break has become an important part of my classroom needs.

Having this flexible seating area will help create a better classroom environment for students!

Students will be able to have the choice of using flexible seating as a break to help promote positive behaviors and promote mindfulness in the classroom.

Ms. Josaphat Urban Assembly Unison School Grades 6-8

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.

Equity Focus
