My Project

I have a lot of diversity in my classroom, and often that is represented by the languages the students speak. Students come in with different backgrounds and different life experiences that make them valuable to our learning community. I want them to feel welcomed and seen.

One of the best ways for an English learner student to be welcomed is to provide resources in their native language.

These books will provide familiarity in language, be a resource for learning English, and will represent to the class the value of diverse experiences.
