My Project

As a new school counselor at an elementary school, I am honored to support our incredible students as they grow not just academically but emotionally and socially. My goal is to create a welcoming and calming environment with appropriate activities to help students feel safe, seen, and supported as they navigate big feelings, build friendships, and learn lifelong coping skills.

To help students thrive, I’m building a social-emotional learning (SEL) space where they can take a break when overwhelmed, engage in meaningful discussions, and participate in activities that promote self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, and positive communication.

Now more than ever, our students need support as they develop the emotional tools to handle stress, anxiety, peer conflicts, and everyday challenges. Many children carry more than just backpacks when they walk through our doors—they carry big feelings, past trauma, and uncertainty.

To make this safe space with helpful activities possible, I’m asking for your help to fund essential supplies such as A Little SPOT of: SEL Book Sets and 10-Pieces Kids Play Couch, that will bring this vision to life.
