My students are an amazing group of four to five-year-olds.
They love to learn and constantly bring a smile to my face.
Half of my students receive free or reduced-price lunches. Through these times of distance learning, my students are still eager to come to class virtually and are ready to learn!
My Project
These items will help students have materials in their hands that will help them grow. I feel that students that are able to touch, write, move, and make find learning more fun because it becomes engaging for them. I am currently lacking in some manipulatives for certain standards and would love to offer these to students during their Daily 5 rotation.
Hands on materials within groups will allow students to be able to communicate with their partners and they can work together.
These manipulatives will also give the students choices on what they would like to work on during their independent work time as well.
