Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

If anyone was to ask me which grade is the best to teach, I would say 7th grade. Why? They are just so simply awesome. At that age, they have so much curiosity about the world that it helps trigger amazing conversations inside and outside of the classroom.

From Brooklyn, New York, I have the privilege of working with the best of the best in the city!

My math students are ready for any challenge, but most importantly, can integrate mathematics into a rich and well-rounded standards-based program with an emphasis in Arts and Sciences.

My Project

There is always a debate about which subject is more important. Sometimes people say English, sometimes people say Math. However, I believe both subjects should be taught in an interdisciplinary approach. Creating this classroom library will be the best thing that will ever happen to my students!

A math classroom library will help students read and learn about math through various stories.

This is very important for my students because I not only want them to excel in my math class, however, I want my students to be the best readers in the world. My students will be Readers today and Leaders tomorrow!
